The project studies, which are within the Aswa River Basin (part of the Upper River Nile Basin), started in February 2015 and will be completed by December, 2017. The project is funded by the African Water Facility of the African Development Bank and is facilitated by NBI’s Nile Equatorial Lakes Subsidiary Action Program (NELSAP).
